It is a great honor for me that the 34^th ACSIC Conference will be held in Daegu, Korea, from the 7^th to the 11^th of November 2022. KODIT has officially launched the Organizing Committee for the upcoming ACSIC Conference and the committee members have been making every effort to ensure a successful hosting.

As we know, SMEs have been bearing the brunt of the COVID-19 crisis, adding to uncertainties on how to maintain business continuity. The pandemic prompted both SMEs and credit supplementation institutions to embark on a new journey bound for transformation to adapt to a rapidly changing environment. This transformation essentially refers to constant improvement for survival and hence we need to transform ourselves to keep abreast of the times. Against this backdrop, KODIT will be holding the 34^th ACSIC Conference under the theme of “The Great Journey: How to Enhance SME Financing for Resilient and Sustainable Growth.”

ACSIC members have formed an invaluable longstanding relationship for knowledge-sharing over many decades through the ACSIC conference. With the slogan of the 34^th ACSIC Conference, “Tomorrow for SMEs, ACSIC Together”, it is my sincere hope that we would be able to make concerted efforts to better navigate through the new challenges thereby paving the way for a brighter future ahead.

I truly believe that the 34^th ACSIC Conference will prove to be the optimal venue for sharing valuable wisdom and accumulated insight.
